The land below was covered with green trees and streams. I swallowed hard. The harness was geared on my body, but the undying fear reigned inside me. I would have to face this fear sooner or later and there was no any other day better than today.
The sunset was beautiful with the lonely clear skies; birds were gliding in front of it. Its rays touched the right side of my face; heat rushed inside my system, but it did not soothe my senses.
“I know you are so brave.” Melody’s voice sang behind me. I could feel her breath on my ears. “You can do this, Feign. You can all do this because you are so great at every single thing.” A smile touched her voice. “Go now. We are all here for you when you come back.” Her gentle laugh did not calm my nervousness.
Just when I was about to jump, I could already feel the rush of air as I freefall thirty-feet below and the electricity of Melody’s hand and how she lightly pushed me to where I was.
