The flashes of the strobe lights hid the true form of your face. I could only see the lines of your jaw, the drop of your pointed nose, the plump of your lips, the long eyelashes you have, and the loss look of your left eye. In the sea of people, it was your distant stance, the flow of your taut muscles throughout your body, that caught my interest. Not that you would return the same, but I knew I was doing a sinful desire. Yet I could not stray my eyes away from the lustful view.
The song turned slow and I saw the bob of your throat—did it set you uncomfortable? My god, my frail fingers itched to run them through your uneasy skin. Your tongue slipped out to wet your lips and my breath hitched as an automatic response. I placed my fingers on my lips and closed my eyes; the infidelity to my religion crashed in my head as I imagined the explosions of our universes—the heated affair of our galaxies in this small room. There were the stars who gazed at us with jealousy and all we could ever do was to shut them off and lose our senses to us.
A commotion behind me pulled me out of my trance and I bowed my head for a while to shake the remnants of my longing, but each tingle lingered. I looked up to where you were and caught your eyes. My spine straightened and I knew my eyes were still lazy and filled with yearn, but I did not mind. I did not care, all of a sudden, how you thought of me or how you looked at me. What I wanted was the attention you were giving to me.
But I faltered with my supposed conviction when you flashed a drunk grin to me, and I began to hope my corrupted thoughts matched yours.
